Megan DeJong

Megan DeJong

Megan has been involved in the cannabis industry, alongside Craft Depot’s CEO Calan, for over three years. Her diverse role has her overseeing operations of the cannabis and equipment, business to business, wholesale marketplaces.

Megan’s previous technical experience in Geomatics Engineering has given her the operational experience necessary to oversee a successful wholesale marketplace. She brings valuable industry experience in regards to distribution and marketplace management.

Oz Hanna, CPA, CMA

Oz Hanna, CPA, CMA

Oz received his Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting from the University of Calgary in 2012. Prior to joining the Craft Depot team, he worked in Calgary for multiple oil and gas companies over the past 8 years and will contribute to accounting, operations and strategic planning for Craft Depot.

Oz brings valuable financial analysis and custom reporting experience with a strong background in process development and systems management.

Phil Hardy

Phil Hardy

Canadian born, Phil began his career as an instrumental component in the development and opening of several luxury boutique hotels in Nicaragua, which were featured in some of the world’s most prestigious travel and leisure publications.

He transitioned into the agricultural sector and joined his family owned and operated premium specialty tobacco conglomerate. Here he would hone his skill set in international sales and marketing, building relationships by liaising with high profile global brand executives on behalf of one of the largest specialty tobacco producers in Central America.

Phil returned to Canada and began consulting in the dynamic landscape of the emerging cannabis industry. Phil aspires to become a key communicator, utilizing his existing network of representatives in the cannabis industry as well as his innate ability to forge and foster meaningful relationships across industrial, cultural, and geographic borders.

Madison Sawatzky

Madison Sawatzky

Madison manages the creation of physical and online marketing materials for Craft Depot. She brings specialized experience of previously managing a marketplace platform in the cannabis space – specifically with respect to communications, web design, and graphic design.

Madison honed her marketing and design skills during the evolution of her record label Shake! Records, which began in 2012 – the year after she graduated with honours from the University of Victoria. In four years Madison put out over 140 different physical releases, promoted over 70 local shows and 7 tours, organized and executed 3 annual three day music festivals, and not only made Aux.Tv’s top 20 Canadian labels list in 2014 but was named best label in Canada by the National Campus Community Radio Association in 2016. In 2017, Madison began her career in cannabis.

Madison holds a deep respect for craft growers and the cannabis plant. She loves being able to contribute her ever-ripening skillset to this budding industry.
